Hebei Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. Wins the Contract for the China-aid Construction of Confucius Institute and the School of Social Anthropology in Benin

Recently, Hebei Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. was awarded the contract for the China-aid Construction of Confucius Institute and the School of Social Anthropology in Benin.

The project mainly involves the construction of a teaching building and a teachers' dormitry of the Confuncius Institute and a teaching building of the School of Social Anthropology on the campus of the University of Abomey-Calavi in the Republic of Benin, with a total gross floor area of approximately 5,750 square meters and a construction period of 15 months.  Upon completion, the shortage of teaching facilities currently faced by the Confucius Institute and the School of Social Anthropology will be effectively addressed, the local educational development and teacher training greatly driven, the influence of the Confucius Institute further enhanced. As a result, there will be deeper cultural exchanges, mutual understanding and people-to-people ties between China and Benin.

China-aid projects represent China's national image and serve as an important vehicle for friendly exchanges between China and other countries. At present, the International Department of Hebei Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. is making the necessary preparations for the project, including arrangements for personnel, equipment, materials, and technical resources.
